When I was made redundant during the COVID-19 pandemic of 2020, I was not sure what direction I wanted to take.
I have worked in the financial services industry for most of my life, having worked within a high street bank for 20 years, and more recently an acquiring bank. So, when Dean approached me to come on board and join the team, I jumped at the chance!
I love to help people and enjoy networking and building relationships with people, so joining Compass was a natural fit.
My role within Compass started as the Business Development Manager where I continued to nurture the existing relationships with our introducers and contacts, create new relationships and be the face of Compass Mortgages. I was the connection between our referrals and the advisors, keeping a close eye on the business being passed to us, and business duly returned where we can.
I completed my CeMAP exams in May 2021 and am now a fully-fledged mortgage consultant.
I love my role and am looking forward to helping our clients with all their mortgage needs.
